Yesterday we had a BBQ after church at one of the local beaches. Then we had the opportunity to go out on the lake in Dan's boat (I believe it is his and his dad's...but for simplicity sake...Dan's boat). There were probably around 25 people who came out to the gathering. There was plenty of food and water to go around.
I never managed to get up on the wake board, but I had fun trying. Lance sure made it look easy! The water was actually pretty nice. My knee is a bit sore today and I think that was from trying to wake board. It was great to spend the day with friends at the lake and just relaxing in the sun. It's been a long time since I was out on the lake in a boat so I really enjoyed it. Maybe next time I will actually get up on the wake board! Topping it off with some ice cream on such a nice day was a great way to end the event too!

No...it is not Sharky Dann Welker's boat. In fact, I didn't even know he had a boat. The Dan I'm referring to is the Dan I know from Church.
