Malls

Yesterday I went to the mall with Wanda and Kim.  I knew it was going to be a mess just by the lack of parking spaces available.  Guess I know that I shouldn't return to a mall for the rest of the year!  I do not particularly enjoy going to busy places like that.

While I was at the mall I made some observations.  Outside of most stores targetted mainly to women (particularly Bath and Body works) there were a few men standing outside.  I looked around and found this on other stores as well.  Don't you think it would be good to install some benches that say "Men Only" where the men could sit while waiting for their significant other?  The prime locations for these would  be right outside many of the more feminine stores that the men may not care to go into.

While I am joking, I will comment that there is not much sitting room in the Rosedale mall...especially this time of year.

i agree but i should think that they should not be limited to men only since some women may not care to go into those stores with their friends/mothers. how about they simply put in more benches. or else you could go to Northtown and sit in the nice, comfy, leather easy chairs.... mmmm... bliss

Great Idea--but, make sure to request that benches by the more "feminine" stores be located next to the food joints :) Ben is always happier while shopping when we stop for a snack (and so are the kids for that matter!) I second the Northtown suggestion. We went there last Saturday and both the kids and Ben sat happily in the benches/chairs outside of Victoria's Secret.
