Imagine having 3 of your non-christian friends come up to you and ask you to lead a bible study for them. This would likely shock you a bit. Now imagine that when you ask them what they would like to study, they say the topic of Salvation.
Well...that is exactly what happened to Wanda. I think I may have felt a little jealous at this point as this is something most believers would want to happen to them. God is obviously at work in this situation!
The ladies met last night for the first time. While they didn't start the actual study, they did have some time of sharing and asking questions. I am so proud of Wanda. This (leading this study) is very much out of her "bubble" of comfort. She shared her story of how she came to Christ, how she came to know me, how she got to where she is now. They had some good discussions about a variety of things. At the end, while praying in groups is still outside her bubble of comfort, she was still willing to pray with them. They are going to keep meeting but the next one or two meetings will likely be similar to the first one instead of focusing on the actual study.
Please be in prayer for Wanda as she leads this study and that God would continue to use her. Please also be in prayer for these 3 individuals that God would continue to soften their hearts and allow them to be open to God's call.
