Shelves, Walleye, and Asparagus

On Saturday, I went over to the Tramm's house to help John build some new garage shelves. His design he got from his dad which just so happens to be nearly identitcal to the ones I recently built at my house (based on Matt's design). We made some minor mistakes on the first set of shelves, but managed to correct them. We started the second set but still needed to attach 2 of the shelves before we stopped for the day.

In the process, Jen made us dinner. We had walleye, baked potatoes, and asparagus. I have only eaten walleye a couple times before (usually very bland in regards to taste). I typically eat Northern, Bass, or Trout. However Jen made it, it was very good. Guess the restaurants I ate it at should take a lesson from Jen on how to prepare it! I have never really had asparagus so I turned it down but in an effort to encourage their daughter to eat her vegetables, I offered to eat one if she would eat her vegetables. Who knew that she would agree! I actually liked the asparagus and suprised them later when I asked for some more. The rhubarb desert finished off the meal well.

Needless to say, my legs are rather sore today from kneeling on the ground drilling holes and hammering nails. However, spending some time with the Tramms, the great lunch, and getting to hold Hans made it all worthwhile :).
