Adoption Update

Some of you may not know this, but Wanda and I are in the process of adopting. In an effort to make it easy for people to know the plan, see the status, donate money, etc, we have created a simple website for people to use. I will update the website as our status changes or as I find information to add that people may want to know. I won't go into more details as that is what the website is for.

Lack of Updates

I just realized it has been a month since I last posted. I apologize for that. I have been updating my facebook/twitter statuses more frequently but haven't felt I had too much to say in a more "lengthy" posting.

We had a great Christmas with the family the week before Christmas. We enjoyed the time with everyone and I especially enjoyed playing with my nieces. We returned to work the week of Christmas which worked out well in regards to missing the big snow storm. I was hoping for more snow (I'm a fan of having it snow a LOT when it does snow...not just an inch here and an inch there). We had very minimal travel plans during the Christmas break so that was nice.

Last night I enjoyed learning how to play "Killer Bunnies" with the Gallops and Yzermans and am very thankful that my wife was willing to learn aside of me. We then proceeded to play "Pass the Pigs" in which I failed miserably (but had fun doing it). It has been a good past month and things are going well in the Defoe household.
